This bike might as well be nicknamed "Ol' Reliable". I haven't had one bit of trouble with her since
I bought her in 2005.
Here's what she's got:
48,705 miles - which includes a 6,600 mile
trip from Fort Wayne to Alaska and back. So you know she is road-worthy!
Custom carved front rotor with flames.
If you like the flames theme (which is already part of the paint style) you'll love this. If you don't, you'll
hardly notice the rotor.
Tough Crash bars/engine guards. Never had to use them (bike's never been down), but
I suspect they are durable enough to do their job and still look good.
Mustang seat (for two up) with removeable,
adjustable backrest for driver. If you've never ridden a bike with a backrest for the driver, you are in for a welcome
surprise. This really saves your back on long rides. Super comfortable!
Willie & Max custom orange and black
saddlebags. These were a gift from my wife and match the muted orange tone on the bike nearly perfectly. They are sturdy and
hold an awful lot of gear (see note about going to Alaska up above). Rarely did I wish I had more room in the bags.
Backrest and luggage rack. Comfort and convenience! Both have been used significantly and are in perfect shape.
Rear brake light cover - dresses up that big ol' red brakelight nicely. Comes off quickly if you don't care for
it. I thought the extra chrome look really added luster.
Chrome radiator cover. Really improves the front end 'curb
appeal' of this bike. Shiny = good!
Memphis Shades windshield - very sturdy and in great shape.
Brake fluid cap - nice touch
Chrome gas tank bolt cap - again, it's the little extra touches that make this
bike really shine.
Venom Viper tires - these have just shy of 7,000 miles on them and still look and perform as
if new. Love the Venoms, they hold up really well.
Serviced regularly, never down. A few (very few) scratches in
the paint, but there are a couple.
There are no dings or dents.
So, the only
thing left to tell you is the price, which is $4,000 or best offer. Want to reach me? email me at gordongiven@yahoo.com or facebook me at www.facebook.com/gordongiven
Don't dawdle or dilly dally (my grandmother's favorite phrase) because with a beauty like this, it's
sure to go quickly!
